Tuf-Steel Gasket

Unique 50/50 blend of non-pigmented PTFE and 316 L. water atomized and passivated stainless steel. A tough gasket as steam in place hygienic seal, excellent chemical resistance. Tuf-Steel gasket eliminates maintenance needs and helps prevent system downtime by eliminating cold flow creep. Ideal for steam pipe connections in both extreme cold (-100 degree F.) and hot conditions (up to 500 degree F.). Metal detectable. Meets USDA, 3-A sanitary standard, pharmacopeia class VI and ASME-BPE standard.
